Metro Cebu, March 6, 2008– Where competition
is high, the market is not only very fertile… it is often
very ripe for the picking. In the Visayas and Mindanao Regions,
competition among distributors is very strong; apparently due to
the apparent rise in demand for
wired and wireless communication technology brought about by flourishing
IT industries.
So with the emergence of a very promising Viz-Min Market, Microwarehouse
VISMIN kicked-off its Road Tour as part of year-round marketing
plan.
Last March 4, 2008 at the Bethel Hotel in Dumaguete, and at the
Metro Center Hotel in Tagbilaran, Bohol last March 6. 2008, the
Microwarehouse Road Tour showcased the latest product offerings
of premium brands like Philips GoGear, Linksys, Apple, and Cisco.
Dealers and select end-users were invited to the event where they
learned of new products, new models, and promotions through trainings,
talks, and seminars presented by Microwarehouse Product Managers.
Partners and dealers were educated on how to sell solutions rather
than focusing on the price of the products and consumers and end-users
were educated on the benefits and services that Microwarehouse
offered.
At the end of the day, evaluation by the attendees proved the Road
Tour a success with an approval rating of approximately 82%.
The Road Tour also allowed Microwarehouse to identify business
opportunities present for its products in the different provincial
dealerships and its Product Managers learned more about the VISMIN
market. Now Microwarehouse is better equipped to design programs,
promotions and other marketing activities tailor-fit for certain
regions or areas.
With the VisMin Road Show scheduled to tour the Visayas and Mindanao
areas all year-round, Microwarehouse is set to conquer new markets
by acquiring new partners, creating greater market awareness for
its products, and the promotion of value added services like Palm
and the Apple Service Centers.
