METRO MANILA, November 8, 2007 – Linksys,
the globally renowned name in wired and wireless networking, boasted
its own booth and product display, courtesy of leading local distributor
Microwarehouse Inc., at today’s Computer Manufacturers, Distributors,
and Dealers Association of the Philippines (COMDDAP) Expo 2007,
held at Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia
in Manila, the third largest mall in the world.
Featured at the Linksys display was a spectrum
of various product offerings, such as the WRT150N and WRT300N Wireless-N
Broadband Routers; the NAS200 Network Storage System; and the CIT200
Cordless Internet Telephony Kit and CIT300 Dual-mode Internet Telephony
Kit (both Skype-capable); along with a range of compact routers,
access points, USB adapters, desktop PCI cards, compact USBs, PCI
adapters, etherfast cable/DSL routers, and notebook adapters.
A “bundling” sales strategy was also
used by Mirowarehouse’s product manager for Linksys, Noel
Victoria, to draw attention to the WRT150N Wireless-N Broadband
Router. Customers saved as much as 15% on selected bundles, such
as the WRT150N combined with the WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Adapter
– the total package for this combo cost only PhP10,000. “Great
savings for the customer,” says Victoria, “plus they
have a choice of which accessory to get along with the Wireless-N
Router.”
